Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing payroll operations across multiple Canadian and US entities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, manage timesheet approvals, handle data entry, oversee payment creation, manage source deductions, and reconcile benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process payroll for employees.
Verify and approve timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform data entry for payroll adjustments and updates.
Create and review payment records, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
Handle source deductions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Onboard new employees into the accounting system, time capture system, and benefits portal.
Issue ROEs and final payments.
Reconcile and manage employee benefits, including deductions and contributions.
Qualifications:
3-5 years in payroll and administration.
Completion of the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is preferred; enrollment in the program will also be considered
Completion of the Payroll Management Professional (PMP) designation is highly advantageous
Experience with Microsoft Suite is required
Experience with Sage 50 is highly advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and consolidate financial statements in compliance with ASPE or IFRS standards as applicable. Prepare margin reporting and other bank reporting as applicable.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reports as required.
Audit Support: Support in the preparation and management of both internal and external audits in Canada and internationally.
